Apparently there was a lot of chaos and disorder New Year's night involving fireworks being used against police along with this fire that destroyed this church.

I have seen "influencers" online claiming it was Muslims causing the chaos and the fire, but nothing credible. However, considering how the media refuses to cover things outside the narrative, one wonders.

Europe is rapidly losing their culture and architecture and all self respect.
The left cannot kill the Spirit of Charlie Kirk.

Survived for 150+ years...call me skeptical that this wasn't a hate crime.
If this happened in Texas, there would be a massive extermination.

Within 10 years there will be almost no Christian churches left standing in Europe.

The building was closed by the Diocese of Haarlem-Amsterdam in 1978 due to structural instability, and in 1979 the Diocese sold it to an investor for one guilder. Title was eventually passed to the City of Amsterdam, and it was renovated for use as a multifunctional building for the city.

The area around the building had lots of fireworks, so likely the fire was caused by fireworks.

Maintaining an old building is really expensive. Regular upkeep and staffing can do a lot, including preventing fires before they start. A lot of these older churches aren't creating revenue anymore for their upkeep.

My wife wants to go to Europe next December for Christmas markets. I want to go see some old cathedrals. Would not be surprised if experiences like these aren't available in 10 years.

Look into going to Poland. Wife and I spent 2 weeks there last week of November first of December. They've got old cathedrals, beautiful old town squares and Christmas markets. We especially enjoyed Kracow, Wroclaw and Posnan.
It's cold and gets dark early. Buts it's relatively cheap, people were awesome.

The "christians" if any exist, need to burn down mosques, what are they waiting for?

We just got back from Christmas in Copenhagen. Very beautiful and Christmas-y place, with lights and glugg (hot spiced wine) and a huge Christmas market. It too will be majority Muslim by mid-century. The civilizational suicide of the West is mind-boggling.

Tired of Muslims getting away with crime - everywhere in the world.

It's not Islamophobia, it's fact - they gotta go.

They not only rolled out the red carpet into their house, they gave the scum their money, food, women and children.

Hoping for a reckoning.

The Crusades knew what they were dealing with.

Even the Crusades took about 200 years to actually get going and start pushing back the muslims. Europe does not have that long. They should be burning down mosques already

I'm still amazed, how many of these places were not bombed out in the first and second world wars. I think there was some kind of understanding at times, but I'm sure many of them were lost.

Many were bombed. Warsaw was over 90% leveled. Part of the Marshall plan $ that were sent after the war went to "make work" programs. One of of which was cleaning the rubble and rebuilding. In many cases, the locals used old photos and even landscape paintings to try and rebuild the way it looked before the war.

It's EXACTLY how Islam operates.

New Year's Eve is the perfect night to get away with a crime, because you can easily blame "accidental" fires or gunshot noises on fireworks.

Not saying this was arson, but...
