Sounds like 12-14 year old who has watched news and knows what mashes buttons.
That being said, you have to be cautious. If they catch the kid and above is true, he needs to be taken from parents and put in juvenile lockup- not some probation or ankle monitor thing.

Terrorists don't typically announce their intentions ahead of time so I pray it's some kind of hoax. It's sad we've come to this though. Going to be a long day for those school officials and law enforcement.

Sounds like one of the usual hoaxes that occur throughout the year, especially right when school goes back in session.

The more detailed it is, the more it is likely bull*****

And as Ag87H2O said, terrorists don't announce their plans ahead of time.

Just saw that 3 elementary schools in South Austin are also under heightened security today due to a social media threat against the schools.

Somebody's yanking a very big chain.

These kind of violent messages could definitely have an impact on the environment in which the ideas and values of students in this area are cultivated, and could impact the flavor of politics developed by this particular crop of kids as they grow.

If coming via social media, I would hope there is a way the person(s) making the threats can be identified. Regardless of age, 20 years at hard labor would be appropriate for making such threats, even if they are a hoax.

Highly likely coming from overseas, India or Nigeria tend to be where this crap comes from.
