Never has been a doubt in my mind.

Whatever good the UN has ever done ended many decades ago. Even with our taxpayer monies being the only element allowing them to hang on. Just like the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

I'm probably in the minority around here, but I don't want to withdraw from the UN and lose our veto on the Security Council. I just want to stop paying for the privilege. Stay in, charge the UN for our facilities, pay the minimum allowable and veto every One World proposal the Soros crowd tosses out. Then watch NATO and the EU grovel.

It will walk you through how the United Nations was stealing at least 10% of the money from the Iraq oil for food program set up by President Clinton. My above sentence isn't exactly correct but you get the picture. The UN did a lot of evil with that program.

Not finished, but irrelevant.

Similarly to how international law is only relevant if it can be enforced and the only national that can do that is the usa such climate, etc. orgs are only relevant if the usa can wield its substantial financial power around to force compliance

These groups will soldier on but wont be able to do anything of substance

I am sure these conferences get nothing done, they just get funding money from the US, go on world trips (for research of course), wine and dine themselves and present papers to each other for resume building.

I like this idea. Withdrawing from the UN itself is a bad idea. Just we pay nothing more.

Absolutely. While not perfect, I 100 percent voted for this. We also already just slashed our UN 'humanitarian aid' (a lie as big as the name 'USAID' and used to fund things like Hamas via UNRWA) down to $2 billion from $17 billion.

The Gazan education system did nothing but brainwash kids from kindergarten on up to focus on killing Jews/terrorism as a purpose in life, and the UN is the biggest non-US/Iranian supporter of terrorism in the world.

"Treaties." At the level of principle it makes me angry that constitutional circumvention used name-distortion to excuse entry into nefarious and exploitative treaties without congressional ratification… but at least it makes them easier to drop out of.

Nope. Need to maintain Security Council veto power. Russia and China prevent a lot of good things from happening because they have a veto. We need to do the bare minimum to keep our veto to make sure bad things don't happen. Can't rely on the UK and France to hold down the fort anymore.

All of these agencies and treaties are the very definition of bureaucratic scope creep. They do absolutely nothing except have meetings about meetings on the backs of US taxpayers.

Will be fascinating to see which of these now fold and which ones won't.
