Never heard of most of these.


I am sure these conferences get nothing done, they just get funding money from the US, go on world trips (for research of course), wine and dine themselves and present papers to each other for resume building.

Nope. Need to maintain Security Council veto power. Russia and China prevent a lot of good things from happening because they have a veto. We need to do the bare minimum to keep our veto to make sure bad things don't happen. Can't rely on the UK and France to hold down the fort anymore.
