Yep. Did that after 2020. Only things I've looked at since have been old answers to questions completely unrelated to politics. I don't post, nor do I frequent the site at all. Best thing I did for myself.

Reddit was great 10 years ago. Now its just a giant circlejerk of bots and brainwashed idiots spewing the same propaganda. Every subreddit is infected.

I'm glad I'm got permabanned from Reddit. The discussions there aren't worth participating in.

I use Reddit sparingly, when googling things like "good hummus with no seed oils Reddit".

I wouldn't even know how to create an account or post there.

I looked at Reddit once eons ago and was so amazed at how bad the UI was that I never went back. I can't believe people can tolerate that look and feel.

Do people actually pay real money to use Reddit? I've seen their comments about awards or whatever they call them here and there but didn't know it required actual dough.

That said, I'm perma banned for calling trans a mental illness in the Metallica sub (I guess they're all severely polluted) so I don't get to troll them anymore. It was fun but I have enough to fill my time without it.

It's still good for some niche topics. But once a sub reaches a certain number of members, or a thread gets a certain number of replies, the Central Committee bots swarm in and ruin it.

I'm too cheap to pay for a TexAgs account - why would I pay for one on Reddit?

I got banned twice and they have IP banned me. I have to switch to another internet carrier or ask Xfinity to give me a new IP.

Or maybe mobile only will work. I have to check that. If I connect over my PC, I get insta-banned.

I had a reddit account that I rarely used, but joined a bands group recently as I wanted to see their upcoming concert. Someone was selling tickets on there and well, despite doing my best to avoid getting scammed, including facetiming the dude for a minute, he still scammed me as he blocked me the second I paid (ony $100, but still pissed me off to no end). So I posted in the group the guys ID that he provided me (which his picture matched him in facetime) to help others avoid getting scammed. Reddit permanently banned my account for "doxing" the guy as some crazy lib commented that I shouldn't be posting his ID. Typical liberal mindset of protect the criminal.
