So, I had a though.

I desperately want to financially support any organization that specifically calls out transphobia in the Muslim community.

If the courts get their way, and Trump isn't able to shut down USAID, just re-direct the funds into causes like this. The only thing that would make me happier than these women getting $1B to support their cause would be a $1B tax cut.

That got me to thinking, why doesn't the GOP sew more discord among incongruent Lib groups. We would be better off simultaneously funding:

1) LGBT groups for LGBT rights in the Muslim community; and
2) Muslim groups seeking to limit the legal rights of the LGBT community.

If Trump can't give all of the USAID money back to the people of the US, then fund both of these groups with all of the USAID money. Let them fight it out very publicly in the courts. Encourage them to do this.

I think that, when it comes to the culture wars, the right is going to have to either embrace Alinsky's rules or die by them.

Owners of well-run trade companies are likely the best opportunity for young men right now.

B: There are zero quotas for white women in college. They are the #1 demographic now. I am VERY sore about the fact that my genius daughter applied for college during one of the first years that the SAT became optional. Shut down a lot of opportunities for her. She wound up with the good guys in College Station, but she should have had more options.

He/she would also have about $150k in earnings to their name over the four years that they would have spent in college, less the $20k cost of the associates degree. The owner of a small electrical services company is more likely to be a millionaire at the age of 30 than your average software developer. If you are smart and clean and career focused and you are an electrician, I think you will likely be on the upper end of that range above.

This isn't a Mike Rowe vs Peter Theil argument here as much as it is that the corporate America is Fing up bad enough that Mike Rowe jobs are looking much more attractive than ever.

On the women in college argument, focused very specifically on acceptance to colleges in the US for white women, white women are the single largest demographic in college in America. The. Largest. If that is the case, why would you need quotas, and how would they be effective? Does not compute.

I missed your reply.

Just a few points more.

If we let foreigners get all the high paying jobs and we do the Mike Rowe jobs (that's an awesome way to put it!) in our own country, than that is the ultimate in stupidity and a surefire way to future slavery in our own land. Money is power. So the solution is not to do Dirty Jobs but to fight to make the good jobs available to Americans in a fair manner. These are American jobs, not world jobs. If these corps consider themselves to be "world companies" then they can GTFO from America. No one will miss them.


How did women become larger college-goers than men? DEI. Or some earlier forms of it. Do you think beneficiaries will let it go without a fight? No. Women still have unfair advantage because every slimy CEO wants to look good in front of the ladies. You don't need quotas but we still have quotas.
