If had a copy of the Newest Texas Monthly I'd probably set it on the ground in a box - I have my mothers big outside dog drop a fresh turd on it and then send it back to them !

That magazine is a piece of junk not worth opening it even if someone gives you a free copy.

Can't decide what makes me more mad at TM:

  • The low effort hit piece on us cracking down on trans teachings
  • Using AI to make some half-assed image of Miss Rev with the beveled logo and just slapping it on the cover

It went woke after COVID, imo. Puts a premium on how much of a foodie joint the places are now.

TM was "clickbait" before clickbait was a thing.

They have never shown an ounce of respect to Texas A&M. The only reason they're referring to A&M as one of the states finest institutions now is because they're using it to hit on state leadership. They've never complimented us in the past, it was always backhanded.

They have no concept or understanding of what the Aggie Ring stands for or the network and community behind Texas A&M - nor do they have no desire to know.

All they care about is getting clicks/subs.

They are the "Kathy Griffin" of news mags.

When I came to A&M in 1968, I went there to get a degree that I could use to get a good job making good money. Nothing more, nothing less. An education that would prepare me to take care of my future family with a good life and a good standard of living. You went to class, studied hard, passed the tests, got drunk on the weekends. All so simple, so uncomplicated back then.
