I wondered when this thread would get down to the real crux of the matter. Who in the system authorized this walk out to protest. . They should be fired immediately for endangering the lives of their students. They are exposing them to needless danger and are going to get somebody's kid killed.

Dude they were minors. It is an assault on minors. Minor girls. The DA will do their investigations on all parties they said. If the girls did any property crime they will be charged for a property crime. It was a heated moment but they fact of the matter is a 45 year old grown ass man fought a minor girl and shoved her down and jumped on top of her. The cops, DA, and state saw it so they had to charge him and now the investigation begins. If they didnt charge him the whole situation would get worse.

The state is the one that asked the DA to charge. Greg Abbott also asked KPD to charge the girls who spit on the officers. The state also asked the school district to make the rules right away. Buda could not keep up with the death threats the Buda PD were getting online by the nutjobs and also for the dudes family that was arrested. Its for the safety of everyone and the kids. It was quite awesome to watch it happen and deescalate so fast by all parties involved. The adults entered the room

He got charged for this. Walking aggressively towards the girl and jumping on her. The rest happened after that. The police, state, and local DA will investigate. All of this could have been avoided. They did not condone it in the first place. Today a middle school walked out in Kyle and tomorrow 2 more middle schools and 2 elementary schools were going to walk out. The dustict sent out a memo thay Common sense has gone out the window. The students that left this week are getting unexcused absence. The ones that stayed were commended. Watching these entitled parents whining is great. There are posts going around of another walkout Friday but it seems right now the State, county, and local entities actually worked together to get this under control. The national press is not good.

A Johnston High School Jaguar golf teacher was fired today also for standing in his classroom with Protest signs he made on Monday after the district said they are not condoning or sponsoring the protests.

Definitely wasn't a saint and did lots of stupid crap lol, never walked out school in protest though or agitated the public or had anything in the same universe as that video. Like I said, I wouldn't want my kid around them, just a matter of time before they instigate a jumping of someone else.

Actually it wasn't speculation, a witness at the scene posted a comment on one of the multiple FB links you posted. According to the witness the girl in white thru an object and hit the window of his truck because he was wearing the the MAGA hat, he rolled down all his windows to keep them from getting them broke. He yelled something at the girl, she claimed he called her a "mojado" which is TexMex for "Wet" She ran up and kicked the side of his truck, he threw it in park and got out of his truck and the video shows the rest from there. All the videos you see posted are from the kids and their not going to post anything of what provoked the event. They just want to promote the melee. Honestly if the guy really wanted to hurt one of them, there would have been at least a couple of bloody noses.

I'm not condoning what the guy did, but I can understand his reaction

I think to refer to this group as "kids," is a bit disingenuous. Technically, yes, they're minors… but the mindset to stage a walkout is an adult move. If you're going to be out causing a scene, these things can happen. It's a real world decision with possible real world repercussions. Actions have consequences, and real world actions can put you in dangerous real world situations.

The ass-whoopee doesn't appear to be a "salt of the earth" kind of fellow either. However, let's not pretend that he drove up and harassed/assaulted some kids at marching band practice.
