She went to Lithuania one summer for an internship with the state dept. She came back in full liberal bloom. The latest drama is that she is saying she's done with our mother (dad has passed) because our mother refuses to see the existential threat to humanity that MAGA is. She calls our mother uninformed and ignorant. I have, up to this point, stayed out of it due to my mother's request but it's gotten REALLY bad over the last couple weeks. It's absolute lunacy.

I have a bunch of cousins like this. I doubt that they would be leaving me alone if they knew how conservative I am. But, I avoid them as much as possible and have thus far flown below their radar.
They are absolutely nuts and are convinced that Trump has rounded up millions of people and have them in camps or something.

My 27-year-old granddaughter is a brainwashed liberal and she forwards weird things on FB while I never post politics on FB. That is why I am here. We do not discuss politics and we are able to get along just fine. She is intelligent, she has a good career and I hope that she will free her mind and THEN decide she wants children.
