Man this one hurts, although that is a long and full life.

He was nails in absolutely everything he did. I was watching "Falling Down" the other night and he nails this role, even though it was a pretty basic one. There was something very genuine and likable about this guy that just oozed through the screen in just about all of his films.

May he rest in peace.

We lived in NoVA and made a trip to Middleburg for the day. He lived in the Middleburg area (horse country).

We ran into him entering a restaurant. He was a gentle soul.

I have to agree he was one of the greatest as we would watch anything produced with him as an actor. It would be impossible for me to pick a single "best" film for him.
