I'd take it all for the hunting and fishing except Albuquerque, and Gallup up to Farmington. The Navajo res is a really weird and backwards area and Gallup is a crap hole.

I hunt elk in a Unit in Arizona that borders New Mexico and it is outstanding hunting, like heaven on earth, a lot of the Units on the western side of New Mexico are awesome too.

Years ago, I suggested to someone who has spent a lot of time working in New Mexico as a representative of a seed company that we should restore Texas to its original boundary.

He was horrified at the idea. According to him, there are many areas of New Mexico that we should definitely not want as a part of Texas because of their mindset.
