you seem to be overlooking the fact that this isn't just imposing on people with disorders. it imposes on everyone in the country. you'd have to force everyone to submit their medical history, and you'd probably have to have in person exams as well since so many people with mental health issues don't bother getting help at all. that's quite the undertaking you're proposing.

If a man who believes he is a woman and wants his pen*s removed is NOT insane, then virtually no one is insane.

I still treat trans people that I rarely encounter with love in person and would never say this to their face, as a personal precaution - and I feel sorry for them and don't want them to feel anything but respect, but it does not change the truth. They need REAL help...not just constant affirmation and brain washing. We don't tell the schizophrenic person that all of their delusions are real and then demand that society plays along.

I genuinely feel deeply sorry for the trans people that just want to keep their head down and function in society...it's the advocates and pushers I despise.
