They are pissed at how poorly the entire Trump Admin has handled the Epstein files/cases.
I don't know a single Republican voter that cares about the Epstein files or has the Epstein files anywhere near the top priorities of things that need fixing. It's the new 'Russia Russia Russia' BS. Nothing but a media-driven talking point. The Democrats didn't do a damn thing about the Epstein files, and they wouldn't if they were in power right now. It's nothing but a distraction.
You encapsulate the problem.
The Epstein files should not be a right/left issue whatsoever, but you are making it just that.
One of Trump's campaign points was to release the files. Well, then it gets delayed, obfuscated, blown off. The Trump Admin is protecting predators. The Biden Admin before him protected predators. The Obama Admin protected predators.
A lot of people care about this. Pretty sad and pathetic that you don't give two ****s about a global ring of power players being degenerate pedophiles and ephebophiles. It is not a partisan issue, nor a distraction.
But go on and stick your fingers in your ears and just MAGA harder. Just ignore Epstein and the complete ineptitude of Bondi and DOJ about everything.

No, you do not have to make it the top of your list. It's not even at the top of my list.
What makes your stance piss poor is that you are completely blowing it off under the guise of, "it's always happened, so who cares."
The Epstein files were a chance to completely blow up the power structure of the Western World and likely return some power the us, the peons.
There's a lot of people that need to burn over Epstein, around the globe. Destroying their power not only brings justice to victims, but allows us to at least have a chance to reset the power back towards the people, and not just our once every couple of years in the primaries which has been ineffective.
But, nah, it's okay. Don't worry about pedophiles.

Arrested 6 of the FBI Top 10.
Be more like Jesse and less like Jessica and your life will be happier.

Wrong question in my view. How many could they actually prosecute is the more salient question.
Epstein died in 2019. There are many Statute of Limitations issues because of the length of time that has passed. Anyone caught up in his case in 2008 the SOLs have long passed for most crimes.
Quote:
It's not a huge leap to infer the reason they aren't releasing all the files is because it would become clear that almost our entire government is completely compromised.

We need to know who in our government is being blackmailed by foreign nations. Statutory rape is a tertiary issue compared to that.
It's not a huge leap to infer the reason they aren't releasing all the files is because it would become clear that almost our entire government is completely compromised. Not because some men had sex with a 17 year old who they thought was of legal age.
Quote:
The FCPA has both criminal and civil provisions, each with its own statute of limitations.
For criminal violations of the FCPA, the statute of limitations is generally five years.
Civil violations under the FCPA have a statute of limitations of five years from the date of the violation or two years from the date when the violation was discovered, whichever is later.
The FCPA's statute of limitations can be tolled (paused) under certain circumstances, such as when the defendant is outside the United States or when facts material to the violation are concealed.

The dems are desperate and its showing.
-Everything they do is fake outrage
-They are trying to create a crisis out of everything to make it look like Trump and the GOP is failing all over the place.
-Everything Trump says are "lies"
-ICE are murderers and thugs
-The economy isnt good, its worse than last year
-Epstein files, Epstein files, Epstein files!
-They are so desperate that they are going to hold 3 separate rallies in DC that I am sure will be filled with paid attendees/protesters. Nobody will watch these idiots while Trump is speaking. If his speech goes for 3 hours, nobody will stay up to watch the "opposition" speech from the communist Gov of Virginia.
The dems have NO MESSAGE, NO POLICIES, NO PLANS to help the country. Just "Orange Man Bad" rhetoric.
What they are offering is NOTHING.
Sit back and watch these idiots.
And it's going to work too. It's worked before and will again. We never learn.

I think you misunderstand. I'm not that concerned about prosecutions (related to Epstein). I want the public to know who is controlled by a foreign government.
Knowing who in our government is compromised is far more important than putting people in jail. The jail time would just be lagniappe.
If Blame is going to be doled out, about 95% of it should be tagged onto Senate Republicans.Vessel said:YouBet said:Vessel said:CDUB98 said:
Setting aside historical norms of mid-terms which already point to the House flipping, MANY conservatives are flat out disillusioned because of the lack of prosecution for the last four years of Democrat treason. They are pissed at how poorly the entire Trump Admin has handled the Epstein files/cases. People in general are pissed at the thought of yet another sandbox war, this time with Iran. Hardcore voters, like most of us here, will get out there and vote, but there is a great deal of apathy for Republicans right now, and it's their own making.
Well said. I'll add no border wall, no mass deportations, no legal immigration restrictions, and no insurrection act against anti-ICE communists.
The administration continuously proves it is unserious about delivering major political wins which demoralize the left and secure America's future.
While there is obvcoiusly truth to this, I believe a flip at the mid-terms has happened every cycle but two of them. Based on that, the odds are that even if they had done much of this there is still a good chance people still switch their vote.
Correct. That's why he had to get that stuff done before the midterms. Now they are moderating on everything to try to win the midterms, will lose anyways, then their agenda will be completely obstructed.
The administration had one year to enact great change and they failed miserably.

It is amazing to me that Rs could have flipped at least 15~20 seats by redrawing districts but none of the R states redrew except for Texas. Because Rs are weak AF and do not act when needed. Indiana is a good example, their state voted down redistricting, when they could have added 2 seats to Rs
Now Dems could flip 8 seats between Cali and Virginia to only 4 from Rs (Texas)

This is a ridiculous take. The Epstein files provide some opportunity to investigate and arrest/convict people for sexual crimes against young people. But it absolutely has no power to reverse the power that enumerable elite globalists have over US, Middle East and Europe foreign policy.
