This election cycle is the primary. Any one can vote dem or rep. The dem races are more interesting.

Dems are leading in early voting in Texas right now because the African-American community is barnstorming for Crocket.

Also, there's a bunch of crossover voting for Crocket right now. Rs know the runoff is where the Republican election is actually happening.

Is course he says things that sound good, but that's just double talk imho. I could go on, but I don't want to really argue about it. Heck, I voted for him last week. An election is a choice, and we don't have any reasonable better alternatives right now/this cycle.

Across the parking lot is 919 Milam. Behind that is the Mellie Esperson building with the historical looking Esperson building in the backdrop. It's not a problem til it is. The fact is we have a system trying to operate in parallel to the U.S. judicial system and it's being run by a group of people with a poor track record of assimilating. My guess is the Brits had a similar response to the first 1-2 Sharia courts that set up over there and now look where they are. Britain has all but succumbed to the Muslim hoard and the numbers suggest it's a matter of when, not if. This is the proverbial camel's nose under the tent for Texas. We can ignore them if we'd like to but it won't stop either 1-2.

But I don't see what you are saying Abbott or Cornyn could have done to stop Muslims from living in Texas. They didn't open the border to allow these cretins in. They couldn't do anything to stop them from living here.


I'm 100% on board with stopping the Islamification of America. (and Texas first.) I just don't see why these two are to blame for what is happening.

The biggest problems is the conservatives aren't really giving their voters many different choices other than cornyn and Paxton race the rest of them you could toss it up between the primary candidates just not a lot of enthusiasm or interest from the Republican side

I early voted Monday.
At least 3/4 of my ballot was unopposed candidates, especially locally.
The only motivation to vote was for the big races of Governor, Congress, and state senator, comptroller, etc. Even my state representative was running unopposed.

Furthermore, there was no line at my polling location. When it's a general election, voting early, there's a line of several dozen waiting.

I do think F16 would be a better place if there was some sort of penalty for dragging in an easily debunked social media s@!tposts like this one and treating it as fodder for insightful discussion.

This right here. I know some folks who have voted Dem for Jazzie.

Not even a little bit comparable. Sorry but that's a terrible analogy. An arbitration is an out of court negotiation that is an accepted alternative to OUR courts that is ultimately based in US law and is legally binding. Sharia Law isn't even pretending US law matters.

I've seen reports there is a large black turnout and supposedly she's split the white liberal vote. How they know that I don't know.

Those all look like Hindus. (And the visa issue is a whole other problem I agree must be fixed)

My wife and I voted in the Democratic primary today so we would have a voice in a couple of important local races. This was a first for us.

We voted today. And I was standing out in the lobby, waiting on the wife. There's a line to get in and a woman in a scooter comes out, her husband greeting her. She says, very loudly, "Watch those machines y'all. Mine kept telling me I was democrat. I AIN"T NO DAMN DEMOCRAT!"


There were several malfunctions. Mostly in printing the ballots and paper getting hung up. Tarrant County had enough that the ballot copy went to two pages.
