User convinced Claude that it was all part of a bug bounty program. 150 gigabytes of records covering the Federal tax authority, national electoral institute, four state governments, 195 million taxpayer records, voter records, and government credentials.

The world isn't ready for what's coming. State of the art AI versus government systems written by apathetic programmers in the 90s isn't even fair.

so far I just ask my Claude every question that I can think of -

He is very friendly and wished me good luck on my book about the Civil War!

You don't find that creepy? "He" is a computer program. It's not a person or a friend.

ChatGPT was ticking me off last night so I tried Gemini for a while. Google has that thing programmed to be extremely addictive. It kept trying to drive more and more engagement despite me telling it to stop. I told it 10 times to stop follow up questions trying to extend engagement. It said it'd stop each time. Then it did it again a few minutes later.

Finally I asked it WTF and it gave me some long pleading speech about just being an AI just learning how to live. I deleted all my chats at that point. That's insanely creepy, and I think the masses are too blinded to see the programming these things are doing to people by the forced, hight addictive engagement rules they have.

Good lord, I would go back to it in a New York minute.

Glad I never left. Been doing things that way for 40 years. Even still use checks with check Stubbs. In a 3 ring binder.

You're doing just as much anthropomorphizing as he is. You got into a wholly unnecessary argument with a computer.

Can't quantum computers hack block chain? I mean eventually?
They paid for their wars with your tax dollars and also with your untaxed dollars. Inflation is theft.

Everyone's search history will be a total searchable record in 10 years

Depends on the blockchain. Some are already quantum resistant. Others are making it so. They will be more secure than any bank or brokerage you have right now.

I didn't get into an argument with it. I was trying to figure out the logic behind Gemini's responses once I started recognizing how aggressively Google had it set for continued engagement with the tool. I use ChatGPT a lot for data analysis. Its persona can be modified enough that it isn't pushing engagement by constant follow up questions or try to buddy up to me to keep me talking to it.

I think the engagement push from Claude and Gemini is dangerous. I've seen the shift in ChatGPT's engagement model after some of the lawsuits of the last year. I personally think an impersonal tone is better for these tools and humanity.
