Devastation in the wine industry, many American wineries are closing.

The reason - Boomers!

"Jon Phillips, the owner of Sonoma County winery Inspiration Vineyards and Winery, told The Post that the population decline of the industry's top wine-consuming generation has led to a recent downturn in sales.

"A lot of people have a misconception that the Boomers are drinking less," he said. "This cannot be emphasized enough: it's not because the Boomers are drinking less, it's because there are less Boomers." "

Yep, whether we live or die, we Boomers will get the blame.

Great article btw, designed to get clicks from boomers and non-boomers alike. I suspect there is a slasher movie coming to build on the boomer hate at some point.

I'm all about embracing it at this point. :-)

Younger generations are drinking less...because of cost and pot.

I also hear the weight loss drugs reduce your desire to drink somewhat as well.
