Any possibility this situation could be used as political cover to allow America to fly over Saudi airspace? I'm very skeptical about all of this blowing up at the same time

The Afghans and the Pakistanis have been increasingly fighting over the last few months. Reports are that they're now in a full-scare war with the Taliban launching an "offensive" into Pakistan. Will be interesting to see if they're able to use our equipment successfully against the US-equipped Pakistanis.

Saudis are not with Pakis. They are somewhat neutral. Pakis claim Saudis are with them because they are cultural slaves of the Arabs. Saudis have great relations with India.
