I frankly don't know. Supposedly she is a lefty, but I can't attest to this as fact. We are not in Corpus but I keep up with them because they are nearby and we are tied into their fate, but I don't follow their local politicians too much. Just some of their decisions.

I had a feeling she wasn't invited. In reality, Trump needed to chastise her and the entire city council for their lack of leadership and negligence. Because that is why Corpus is in this predicament to begin with. The mayor is allegedly a Republican, but who knows? She is terrible and a sorry leader. And that goes for the rest of the council.

This is all wrong. The current city council didn't create the problem, past council's did years ago by kicking the can down the road. THIS council is actually fixing it. The reason Plan A was voted down was BECAUSE there was a Plan B and others and Plan A (desal) was full of problems many citizens didn't want and grossly expensive and would not be online for many years.

This council is actually showing good stewardship by not cramming the most expensive water option down the throat of the taxpayer. I am very much involved in the water dealings with the city and know exactly what has been done and what is in the works right now.

I do business with one of the City Councilmen and I know about a year and a half ago they were trying to get a deal done for a desalination plant, but I haven't heard much about it recently
