They'll show up next week. And the week after that. People are too comfortable to actually do anything.
If you say you hate the state of politics in this nation and you don't get involved in it, you obviously don't hate the state of politics in this nation.

I am 100% the accommodations Brits continue to give Muslims, including this

But booing fans in the standard there. I wouldn't say it hurts the product given they keep coming back!

I stand corrected.

Mixed you up with another user.

I understand that this is different because it was in middle of match however BYU does not play sports on sundays. All teams including ncaa tournament have to adjust their schedules to accommodate byu.

Wolves, not Wolverhampton Wanderers. And funny enough they actually beat Aston Villa today who was sitting at 3rd. Wolves are no longer in contention for the worst PL season of all time

Imagine being upset that play is stopped so someone can grab a quick protein bar and water.

Dumbest thing I've read today.

Imagine being such a water carrier you support suspending rules for some dudes snack break because his pedophile prophet told him not to eat for a few hours.

Premier League also doesn't play on Good Friday or Easter Sunday.

Seems pretty fair

They shouldn't play on Easter Saturday or Palm Sunday either

Poor comparison. If the premier league didn't schedule games during the fasting period of Ramadan then that would seem "fair" and scheduling is scheduling.

Fundamentally changing the established rules of the game for a religion?

Horrible comparison

It's also funny that people on here are so asspained about it when 99% of the people on this board have never watched a PL game and call soccer gay.

The dude that claimed he has watched PL for 15 years wasn't even aware this has been a thing for 5 years

However, in a country that has a centuries long Christian tradition, that makes sense. It also doesnt stop the game in the middle of it.

Im right here. I've been watching the pl since the 90s.

Yes, I wasn't aware the took a game stoppage to let Muslims break their fast.

I also hate var, water breaks and the extra substitutes allowed.

And what the hell is a handball these days anyway?

Of course, the biggest change is the massive amount of illegal immgrants allowed into britian since 2020, the revelation of rape gangs, the multiple jihadist terror attacks and general malaise in britian

Thats why fans are booing today, because stopping the game at dusk is a reminder

No argument there, but it doesn't absolve you of a ridiculous comparison.

Imagine how foolish you must be to jump to such a ****ty conclusion.

I saw that yesterday. I watch a lot of Premier League and have for years. Never seen that before.
Unfortunately the UK is on their way to being a muslim nation.

It's ridiculous they give any credence to it whatsoever.

Can't they continue play with the non-Muslim players on n the pitch? The Muslim players can break their fast and then return to play.

No. You only get a limited amount of subs a game at that level, and, once you are subbed out, you can't go back in.

For real. It's not really fasting when you gorge yourself with food just before it begins and then twelve hours later do it again.

Intermittent fasting is more of a fast then that.

On their way? They are there already. That demographic brings their baggage everywhere they go and eventually their new "home" becomes somebody else's "old" home. Just like our buddies to the south of us. Want to know why our educational system is dumping out in Tejas? Think about it. There are three dominant languages in TX
Spanish- growing leaps and bounds
Street talk/Ebonics- let me aks you; I can use the N word but if you do, you are racist and you're tagged.
American English- losing its grip.

Walk the hallways of any public high school in Houston and listen to the language being spoken. This is the sound of our state and country falling apart.

Soapbox. Sorry

Peace for Ukraine!

Now call your local elementary school and ask them what accommodations they've put in place for Muslim students during Ramadan.

Unless you live in a small rural town, you will be surprised.

Im less concerned what an isd has chosen to do to accommodate Muslim students as its incumbent on a govt organization to not inhibit any particular religion

We have a daily 2:00 minutes of silence after the Pledge of Allegiance and after the pledge to Texas. Then again you might get 3-4 people standing for the pledge and in most cases two people participating in the moment of silence. Most kids and some teachers, don't give a crap about either gesture; they keep on talking. Like I said, listen to what's being spoken in a large 6A high school and that will be this state in a few years.
Peace for Ukraine!
