Good.

As long as you restrict it to billionaires.

PS: I am not a billionaire so feel free to tax the sheet out of them.

On top of not being a billionaire, you obviously don't have a rudimentary understanding of our economy either.

Bernie hated millionaires until he became one. Maybe the cheapest solution is to make Bernie a billionaire.

Nah. Some other idiot will come along with the same idiotic idea. And when the obvious happens and the billionaires just leave, they'll say you shouldn't be allowed to leave. In fact, I think the mayor of Seattle openly suggested this. In the end, it will be the middle class getting hosed…as always.

The gov could get $4.4 trillion in 10 years to spend on something useful by just stopping the fraud and theft from garbage like NGO's, dead people receiving welfare and SS, all the waste fraud and abuse.

But Dems don't want to do that because they are the recipients in f most of the waste, fraud and abuse.

I like how you try to pretend you're some savy investor and you rely on it for wealth. Then you don't realize that billionaires liquidating stock on the market each year to pay these taxes for 10 years would absolutely erode and tank your entire portfolio.

It is true that billionaires are richer than I am, though I am not sure I define them as more "successful". Most billionaires have miserable personal lives, while I have a wife and kids and I still drop my daughter to school and pick her up everyday. I call that success. I define what success means to me.

Money? I don't have a billion but i do very very well. No debt and I can now pay for luxury cars with cash like I did in 2025. What more do I want? All legal and I pay my taxes.

So hatred for billionaires? No.
Do they manipulate the system to squeeze more out than they are worth while hard-working Americans can' even survive? Yes.

Hence they must be taxed hard.

I have a normal family, not a freak-show that they all have with babies from 10 different mommas, Russian Epstein hookers, new wife made of plastic, etc etc. I'm pretty sure they have billion+ but all have mental health issues.

I never called myself savvy. I just say "good investor". And good means making money, not just buying and selling. I am a boring investor but I make money and I don't need a job, I work for fun and will for as long as I want to.

But to your point, how a billionaire pays the tax is his problem. I am sure each has an army of CPAs to help them out. They don't need anyone's sympathy, they do pretty well.

The state needs money to run. You cannot tax Homeless Steve. So you tax Billionaire Bob. It is as simple as that.

But a billionaire wealth tax does hurt the middle class. In order to pay those taxes the billionaires must sell their held stock to convert it to cash to pay said taxes. Dumping that much stock every year will reduce stock prices across the board. This reduces your wealth. This reduces the wealth of 401k's and retirement accounts of the middle class.

So in your quest for jealousy and revenge all you did was hurt yourself and others in the middle class. All so Elon's net worth could go from $500 billion to $475 billion.

So, they are going to create a serious fault line in the stock market all to redistribute wealth. They aren't even going to do something useful with it like pay down the debt although even this would not move the needle on the debt.

Instead, just going to steal money from the rich and give to the poor all the while critically wounding the primary mechanism by which the middle class can get out of a financial hole themselves - the stock market.

Maybe. But one cannot run a country based on who makes money in the stock market. Truth be told, I am mainly an investor and my corporate job is a side gig for me. If the market goes down, I suffer also.

Stop offshoring, stop H1Bs and stop all other crooked means, and then I am okay with billionaires making as much as they like. That is when they REALLY would have deserved it in a fair environment. Not by raping America.
Until then, tax them.

I am for Trump's tariffs and want Trump to tariff offshoring.
