When we were in West Bloomfield in the 70's it was common to see women wearing fur coats to the supermarket in winter. My brother was a caddy at the Jewish CC (not sure if the club was restricted per se...there were probably gentile members too). I worked at the Mickey D's on Orchard Lake Rd.

It's a great town. Too bad about the winters/snow...and terrorism.

Law Enforcement says that the body was burned by the fire and ID is going to take a while. Not sure if actually stalling or if true. But, apparently there is a fire so I assume the attacker was both shooting and also setting a fire somehow. Maybe set self on fire by accident or on purpose. Must of been a crazy couple of minutes.

Man, the AP story posted at 1:53 doesn't mention any of this. But it does say that "Investigators were still working to identify the man's identity and a possible motive for the attack, said the person who could not publicly discuss details of the investigation and spoke to AP on condition of anonymity. The person cautioned that the investigation was still in the early stages."
