We need to start hitting where it matters - the money. Can't live here without it. Also should do more fines for employers.

Look at farms and hotels would be one easy way, but that is not on the table.

Lot of good ideas.

ICE in ERDs would work even better.

There will never be major deportations. The giant corporations (the ones who pay our politicians enough money that they end up retiring from government service with $50+ Million) would never allow it. They're not going to let them deport 15% of their customers.

Either cut off all remittances to their home countries, or put a 100% tax on them, unless the person can show he or she is in the country legally.

Many would self deport on their own.

Make illegals into Republican voters... Tim Walz will personally drive them back to the border.

This.

I was really surprised that "cash" was not on Trump's list of tariffs.

Edit: My reading comprehension is suspect this morning……. There have been F16 proposals that did not allow for legal workers to do this. My bad

It's super simple and easy. It's called power of the purse. Republicans… REPUBLICANS passed the spending bill that provides money to illegals to be able to stay. Cut off the money and they go home.

The easiest way to solve this problem is a $10,000 payout to the deportee and a $1,000 bounty to the snitch who turns them in.

Feel free to adjust the amounts to make it work. Maybe the right answer is $5,000 and $5,000.

There are definitely some family members who would turn somebody in for even less. But, if you're going to build a program around it as a deportation strategy, we're going to need to spend a few racks to get it going.

For the more risky or dangerous people, maybe you increase the award for turning in felons.

Obvious caveat for receiving your deportation payout is that you get all your biometric information collected and you're banned from the USA for 5-10 years. And if you're caught again during that time, it's an automatic lifetime ban.

Personally, I believe that mass deportation on the scale envisioned here would absolutely wreck our economy, but if you really want to deport people or force them to self deport, it fairly simple.

Two things will quickly get people to self deport.

  • Start arresting owners of companies who employ illegal aliens.
  • Increase taxes on remittances.
Most people in this country illegally are simply here to provide a better life for themselves and there families. If you take away their ability to do that, they will leave.. .

Your also not going to get buy in from a lot of otherwise conservative business owners because they count on the cheap labor pool.

Deport 1 million while 4 million come in thanks to H1B and their barnacles. Hispanics came over and at least have a similar value set in terms of religion, manners, hygiene, culinary, and give some effort towards assimilation. Ain't no one getting deported. Too many wheels getting greased at the local, state, and federal level. Only more 3rd world citizens will get added.

I personally would rather have illegal hispanics cleaning my hotel room than a crackhead, which is the only other option. Same with those who pick my vegetables, mow my lawn, pack my meat, etc.

Cut off the free stuff, the tax credits, the fraud options, and pull freebies and improve work eligibility screening including remove the right to work under an improbable asylum claim, and millions of self deportations occur.

Add to that, if they are wanted in another country, they will be returned to that country and dropped off with the authorities there. Otherwise, they can take their chances going back across the border on their own.

Mass deportations are not going to happen. The GOP doesn't even want to do them. Big money GOP donors love the cheap labor. The GOP just plays it up when they are running for office because their base is very gullible

Um Republicans had a chance to do this in the Big Beautiful Bill. The house presented a 5% tax on it and the senate kicked down to 1%

Republicans are pathetic, especially Thune. That guy needs to be stripped of being majority leader if they retain the senate again
