In the China post I made above I forgot to also post that the Chinese headlines for some of the "accidents" say things like the person sacrificed their life for China.

That is an odd way to describe a car accident.

China has about a quarter million auto accident deaths per year per the WHO...6x the US rate. Having driven there, many times, there's nothing unusual about the above.
