This is still too far out to have any real impact on his '28 run. Sure, it plays to the base (who I'd imagine are now watching CBS news when others are leaving them to watch elsewhere), but if they (CBS) wants to play mainstream Fox/AON and really try to take Gavin down, they should wait until one year to the day from when the election is and then just let things drip out every week.

Doing that will have a lot more impact on his campaign than something two and a half years before the election.

Let's take out what little rail we have left and make bike trails versus moving people and goods. For those things, we have Old Dominion Freight and Spirit / SWA.

build reliable rail lines for goods and people transport vs wading money on driverless cars and flying drones.

Rails are a reliable and convenient way to travel. America ****ed this up and needs to fix it.

I think I may have missed where you were coming from. I was poking at abandoned infrastructure being repurposed has mixed results.

But o should have abandoned my tangent at that.

At first blush the rails to trails seems like a great idea. In practice, I don't think it adds much other than intrigue with a side danger.

I see now where you are coming from and get why you posted about that program. Good intentions, mixed results.

Trains are 18th century technology that is expensive, requires high density cities near other high density cities. Also they are immovable. Airplanes and airports can move as needed. Train tracks are created once and relatively hard to change. So as cities grow or die trains can't adjust.


And Bari will be gone shortly and Pravda will resume as usual.

So I guess Israel first has got us a couple of hit pieces against Newsome not sure this will out weigh the bad from this war but I've been wrong before only time will tell.

I hope she has a good bodyguard. This is a direct threat to the left and their propaganda machine. They won't take this lying down.
