We have a permanent veto, so I assume this won't happen. But it's still a not so veiled slap in the face to the U.S. We should cut funding down to $100 per year and tell the use of U.S. soil for their headquarters covers the balance of our dues payment. Then veto everything the worthless body tries to pass, until they either start acting civilized or are begging to go somewhere else.

I can certainly appreciate both sides of the debate on leaving/staying in NATO, but leaving UN should be a no brainer. There is zero reason to be in it or for it to exist.

It's simply a global wealth redistribution / grievance center that results in ridiculous parody moves like this.

We don't have a permanent veto for everything the UN does. Only for the Security Council. I have no idea if this is a security council resolution, or some other part of the UN. Just wanted to make it clear, though, that we don't have a veto for everything the UN does. We can just ignore them, though.
