A popular San Diego-based taco chain is facing boycott calls after a social media user alleged the business's CEO supports President Donald Trump.

Roberto's Taco Shop, founded by Roberto and Dolores Robledo in San Diego in 1964, says it serves "fast traditional Mexican food" at more than 80 locations in California, Nevada and Texas. The chain's current CEO is their son, Reynaldo Robledo.

SFGate reported that the Latino-owned business came under fire after a TikTok user posted a video targeting Robledo's alleged political views.

The TikTok user, who says she exposes "Latino MAGA businesses that profit off La Raza," shared screenshots of posts supporting the president from a personal Facebook account bearing Robledo's name and image......

Last time those eff-tards tried to boycott a Latino company, I found the Goya has some of the best beans and that company gained a new loyal customer.

Funny enough, when I had the Inland Empire as a region, most everyone there was "maga" ....
So this sounds like just some "influencer trying to stay relevant to their paymasters.

Food knows no politics, only taste.

I used to pick up Robertos often when I lived in Vegas. It isn't bad. I preferred Faustos as my strip mall taco shop of choice out there.

Good on the owner.

Roberto's is good (solid carne asada fries) but there are 100 other places in so cal that are as good or better.

Not a great business decision to piss off most of your customers.

There is a difference between a companies owner having political views and a company advertising a political view.

I've never seen a Roberto commercial, have you?

Private postings? People were filming themselves and posting it publicly. They ****ed around and found out. Then cried like little *****es. The best was the last in California who cried that her poor boyfriend's company was impacted. That was hysterical. Loved watching her cry and show what a loser she was. Also laughed at the teachers that got fired. A few less moron teachers is never a bad thing.
