Doesn't count when the robot crashes out 100 yards from the finish line and the engineers have to run out, put it back on its feet, and restart it back towards the finish line.

Of course a machine can beat a human. Why is that dude on X surprised?

I wonder if he's aware an a nail gun can outperform a dude with a hammer?...or an aircraft can actually perform a feat humans cannot even accomplish! Imagine what he's going to think when he finds out about boats and submarines!

An airplane would beat the corolla though, and space balls would beat everything. As of right now I don't think we know of anything faster than space balls (aka UFO's); aside from photons.
