In light of this week's indictments over at SPLC, and Congresswoman Omar's sudden and massive change in her net worth disclosures I wonder if we're just starting to see what's coming.
We've had posters here, along with countless people on social media pounding the table that for the past 16 months "Trump hasn't arrested anyone!" Some even going so far as to say new boss same as the old boss, all talk, the more things change the more they stay the same, etc.
I think if we're being honest with ourselves, we know that the wheels of justice can turn painfully slowly. But I also wonder what was going on in the background, even during Trump's four years "off." We've all agreed that the Democrats fighting Trump in 2020 was their biggest mistake. Is this yet another ramification of that? I think it's entirely possible.
Now we learn that while President Trump was at home forming the plans for his comeback, banks were submitting SARs to the DOJ regarding SPLC and the Biden administration was squashing the investigation. Biden, and later Kamala needed that Charlottesville narrative. BUT did Trump have insiders whistle blowing this to him as well?
1). I think the $3 million with SPLC is just a small tip of the ice berg, but it's enough for the indictment, and that's enough. They've got more, and if the prosecution needs more they'll put the bow on it.
2). Just last week Omar was daring the GOP or others to investigate her. Now an "accounting error" and she's broke? They'll probably take her up on that dare.
3). EDIT TO ADD -- Former NIAID Senior Official indicted for trying to cover up and conceal US/NIH role in relation to foreign labs and the COVID-19 mess.
4).
5). I can't help but feel more things are coming...
Like I said, we know the wheels of justice turn slowly. Trump used his four years with the full org chart for the Fed gov, and frankly for the whole world. That's a lot of time to sit with a trusted inner circle, and quite literally play out VERY real world scenarios of the game Risk; globally and domestically. Following the inauguration, he had to get the moles out, solidify the honest non-partisan players within the full time gov, and get his leadership circle in place. Then starts the long months of getting the investigations going (quietly) and putting all the pieces together. Now we're seeing the fruits
So thanks for coming to my TED talk I suppose...
Thoughts? Is this all? Or are the floodgates of transparency about to open?
Edit for typos
