I'll vote for DeSantis every chance I get. The guy gets things done.

Rubio is proving to be a non-dork smooth operator AND highly qualified to be POTUS. He's done an outstanding job as SoS.

He'd easily get my support and vote if he's the Republican candidate.

Whoever the candidate is on the R side will have an easy opponent. It will be Newsome, Harris or the butt pirate for Dems. Harris is pathetic and would be an easy win, a gay guy will not win right now and Newsome has a lot of baggage with his pathetic performance at Governor. That being said he is probably the toughest opponent, good looks and can talk/battle.

Surprisingly Harris is leading in the polls, she very well could win the nomination which is crazy AF.

I think DeSantis is a good candidate, he can win, he would definitely get the MAGA vote and bring back in the non Trump people.

Rubio I think would have the easiest path to victory, he can speak Spanish and is a good looking dude. Women will like him and Hispanics will rush to vote for him, I could see him winning 60% of the Hispanic vote

What will make 2028 a lot easier is if the economy turns around and inflation goes down. REALLY need this to happen in 2027.

We're in a pickle for sure. I don't trust Donalds, especially since Trump endorsed him so early. We've really benefited from DeSantis. I hope he's been working on his tact and campaign strategy the last couple of years. We really need him on the national stage. I think he would be a good Supreme Court Justice.

I tend to agree about Donalds. He's not my congressman, so I don't know much about him. I just get this, "I want to be Governor because it's a next step up in my political career" vibe from him, as opposed to wanting to be Governor to continue making this state the best in the nation.

I totally agree, my friend. I'm tired of "it's my turn" mentality.

I'm waiting for Desantis to endorse someone. Will be very interesting because it probably won't be Donalds, which means we might see the Desantis endorsement versus Trump's.

Haven't been a fan of Donalds, he's just always seemed like an opportunist riding the Trump train.

Perfect spot for RD. He can make lefties cry for 30 years.

But if we're talking about the governorship, I don't know that there are many people around who knew what we would get from RDS. I distinctly recall thinking that I wanted him to run for Senate instead of Governor. I wasn't a fan of Rick Scott, and I thought Adam Putnam would have made an effective governor.

This is to say I am open to being cautiously hopeful about Donalds.

This why I'm very worried about what's going to happen once Desantis is gone. Especially if Donalds wins the office.

Glad to see that kid grew up and made something of himself…

DeSantis on the Supreme Court would be an interesting prospect, mainly because he could potentially serve for a very long time, which some people would see as a major advantage.
