Very little that helps Americans actually gets done, we spend more time projecting our values and directing attention overseas.

Reason is simple.

A combination of white man's burden and white man's guilty.
Here in this country we think it is our job to uplift other countries because we think we are so lucky to live in the US. As a result, we have opened up our borders, let all kinds of weirdos in and US is slowly slipping from great, to not so great anymore.

With 38T of external debt, I wonder how we even call ourselves "wealthy". Do you think Steve with 1M in the bank by 3M debt would call himself wealthy? He would be called bankrupt.

I admire this woman. Putting herself at risk for this issue.

Most people aren't talking about it. Why not? Because they make money directly or indirectly from this scamming of American citizens.

I don't just blame the scammers, I blame the US Government for allowing this to happen and not doing anything to weed out the scammers after it did happen. Everyone is on the take.

Every congressman and senator with tech in its backyard will vote no on this.

Hell, even Mike Lee, who is a tiger on illegal immigration loves the H1B loopholes and supports more of these visas because Salt Lake City hosts a ton of tech jobs.

You are sadly correct.

Jail the CEO. Fines won't do it.

Cloudera's plot was to hire foreigners and not Americans. So they asked people to email resumes to an email address. That email was a bad email and bounced back. So they made it look like they were asking Americans to apply but then they claimed no American applied (bad email address... clever!) and so filed for H1Bs.

I hope the CEO is thrown into prison. He is not an Indian, he is a white male. The Chief Strategy Officer is an Indian male though. Scumbags. Criminals. Fine them BIG and jail them.

Here's another type of folks who make money with H1Bs. Immigration Lawyers.

These two lawyers in the video are also on Twitter complaining that Trump's policies are killing the "talent pipeline". All they care about is the money they make from these deals.

The next time you meet someone who strangely spouts corporate talking points like "americans are lazy" "americans cannot innovate" or "Trump hates/targets Indians", dig deeper, you will find that he/she makes money from this directly (like an attorney) or indirectly (through investments that rely on H1B).

Here she is again. Angry that her meal ticket may get taken away. So tone-deaf.
