The technique to use with modern art is to read the placard first and then look at the painting.

That is when you'll know for certain that these "experts" are completely full of it.

I was kicked out of the San Francisco Art Museum for laughing too loudly at the exhibits featuring Robert Ryman's monochromatic white art. That was the mid 90s. They asked me if I wanted a guided tour (for an additional fee, of course) My retort, "How many different ways can you say a startling lack of color?'

Not just the rich benefit from the way long-term capital gains and qualified dividends are taxed.

And the rich (and we can use your definition as to what rich entails), who are paying at a tax rate of 20% and likely 23.8% on long term capital gains, are paying taxes on long term capital gains at a much higher rate than the bottom 50% of the country, and at a higher rate than probably 75% (or more) of the country. Then of course, they are also paying an even higher tax rate on their other income.

What's your definition of rich? Anyone with investments pays capital gains, rich or not. You remind me of Buffett when he cried about his personal secretary paying more in taxes as a percentage. No ****, she pays income and he paid the gains. Please tell me you're smarter than that? I'm not betting on it.

Not so long ago when something like this happened, the left used to at least pretend they wanted to tone down the rhetoric and come together as a nation and keep things more civil. Not any longer. Now they cheer the division on and pretend it is completely justified. Even when it means ramping it up until someone gets killed. All that matters is that they are in control.

You can't deal with that or negotiate with that. You just have to expose it and thoroughly beat it. We have been and are at war with the left. Trump gets it, but he can't do it on his own. Republicans better start understanding that fact and acting like it and doing everything they can to start winning the battles or the war will be lost.

The Left want a structural change in the fabric of the United States. They say they want Switzerland or Norway but in reality they want the USSR with them in charge.
