We grew up with actual comedy. Not the watered down and politically neutered version your generation allows. No George Carlin, no Lenny Bruce, Robin Williams, Bill Hicks, no Mel Brooks movies for heaven's sake these days, No All in the Family, The Jeffersons, Good Times, SOAP, Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, Barney Miller, Taxi, Nightcourt, Welcome Back Kotter...could go on all night.

Hell, go back and watch the cartoons such as Bullwinkle. Funny on one level as a kid, watching as an adult, completely different. Bullwinkle was South Park before there was a Southpark.

This is absolutely spot on!

Least we forget "Dean Martin's Celebrity Roasts!"

....especially when the great Don Rickles was there......he was a master of insult comedy!

That was a light-hearted joke, and Carson didn't regularly skewer Reagan on his how like the current hyper-partisan hosts do. Carson and Reagan were friends and there are videos of Reagan coming on his show, with both of them having laughs and a good time.

Kimmel absolutely has boundaries. He never made fun of Biden for falling, finding cocaine in the White House, needing help walking into rooms, slurring his speeches, or just in general being in bad cognitive shape. He pulled his punches.

F16 makes better jokes and memes than the modern late-night hosts do today. Insinuating a First Lady is a future widow isn't comedy, it's just a pathetic reach. Trump is the one who lives rent-free in the heads of comedians like Kimmel who need 'shock value' to get ratings.

Kimmel once compared DeSantis and Florida to North Korea during COVID while Newsom and California were the ones locking their citizens down. He's a moron.

Melania has done an incredible job of showing restraint for YEARS as the media and so-called entertainers have attacked her and her family. She's a tough woman.
