He hosted a show days prior mocking the upcoming correspondents dinner. He made fun of Melania and Donald Trumps relationship, saying basically that she is married to a nearly deceased geriatric that she never speaks with or wants to be in the same room with and is just waiting for him to die.

It looks like Gutfeld gets 1M to 1.6M more viewers per night on average.

Edit: beat me.

Need to factor in that Greg is on FNC / Cable and at 9pm which is still the prime time show slot for the broadcast networks. Moving Kimmel to 9pm (central time cause that's where I live) would probably be further disaster.

And in theory the broadcast should still benefit from holdovers who still watch local news. Gutfeld would only benefit from Hannity watchers in the same way, and whilst those overlap they are not the same base.

Folks have to actively tune into Gutfeld vs they just maybe don't change the channel laying in bed when Kimmel and friends are on.

That's my thought. Maybe AI knows better.

The numbers don't exactly mean a lot because Gutfeld and Meyers are in different time slots from the other three. One could say they are splitting their own slots. That said, Gutfeld is on cable, and the others are major networks.

No doubt. Jimmy isn't very bright. He just reads the lines. He's not coming up with this stuff himself. He tolerates it because he wants desperately to be accepted. I started boycotting kimmel in 2017 or 2018 and have honestly not missed it at all. The only funny thing he did were pranks on John Krasinski and the "I ate your halloween candy" bit.
