I would 100% vote for Rubio over Vance. He has the experience and brains to be a good president. I feel comfortable that he would always do what is best for our country. I don't get that feeling about Vance. I'm still not on the Vance bandwagon. Something about Vance bothers me. I don't trust him.
Although I don't agree with you personally, I think a lot of GOP voters feel similarly. I suspect a lot of this has to do with Vance saying some very negative things about Trump in 2016. Vance did a decent job of deflecting that during the campaign and just saying that watching Trump in office changed his mind, but he clearly wasn't on board with the MAGA movement originally.
I thought Rubio's presidential chances were dead after Trump labelled him "Little Marco" in 2016, but give the guy credit for rebuilding himself. Right now, Rubio and Vance clearly seem to be co-favorites. If Trump's second term ends on a high note, it's probably one of those two guys who get the nomination. If Trump struggles, DeSantis may have a chance since he isn't closely tied to the administration, although his lack of personality will hurt him with some voters.
