I like Rubio was very impressed with his college football knowledge of players stats ect. I've always judger people on college football I don't know why but I think college football fans are better people then non college football fans. It's dumb I know

Who will vote in Repblican primary? Who knows but if it's the podcast bros that help elect Trump Rubio can't win he is to close to Israel. They will all show the leaked email that Rubio was bought and paid for by Larry Ellison for Israel.

Me I'm past the point of caring and just have to except the fact Israel will play a role in our foreign policy so Rubio will have my vote over Vance and DeSantis.

I am at a loss whether Bondi was corrupt or just too damn dumb and incompetent. She rained so much **** down upon herself with her binders and files on the desk comments… evidently before she bothered to take a look inside either.

That aside, I do not see Blanche as a politician but I am very happy with him in charge, hope he continues to stack these actions, and that he actually put some hides and trophies on the wall.

To be honest, Blanche may be in the role where he is most effective. So much of being POTUS is mop and circumstance that many men simply do not have the energy for that and the actual part of the job being the Executive.

Trump solves this by not sleeping. Not sure how many can do that.

Meyer Lansky pretty knowledgeable on college football as well. Not sure he was POTUS material but he did mention the Ags in a movie (which one escapes me).

And where are we getting the son of Cuban immigrants who is mostly catholic when he's not trying out evangelical baptist churches is being led by Larry Ellison and the Jews.

Where does this stuff come from?

I would 100% vote for Rubio over Vance. He has the experience and brains to be a good president. I feel comfortable that he would always do what is best for our country. I don't get that feeling about Vance. I'm still not on the Vance bandwagon. Something about Vance bothers me. I don't trust him.

1) Desantis - fantastic executive experience, true conservative

2) Vance - He's VP and has the experience of that going for him

3) Rubio - great SoS, but no executive experience

That's my order for the "Big 3" in the GOP right now.

Although I don't agree with you personally, I think a lot of GOP voters feel similarly. I suspect a lot of this has to do with Vance saying some very negative things about Trump in 2016. Vance did a decent job of deflecting that during the campaign and just saying that watching Trump in office changed his mind, but he clearly wasn't on board with the MAGA movement originally.

I thought Rubio's presidential chances were dead after Trump labelled him "Little Marco" in 2016, but give the guy credit for rebuilding himself. Right now, Rubio and Vance clearly seem to be co-favorites. If Trump's second term ends on a high note, it's probably one of those two guys who get the nomination. If Trump struggles, DeSantis may have a chance since he isn't closely tied to the administration, although his lack of personality will hurt him with some voters.

Rubio could end up being the strongest contender for the general election, as he seems like the kind of safe choice that might attract independents and undecided voters if those voters truly exist.

Rubio has really gotten himself up there as a potential candidate. Is he aggressive enough to fight the left? That's the big question. I think Trump appealed to so many conservatives because he fights and says the truth about the danger of the left. I think Vance understands that better than most but is much more articulate.
I still think it's JD's to lose but it's much more of a race now than I previously thought.

I don't think Rubio has the charisma needed to win an election.

This may be the biggest issue with him. There's still that image of him debating Trump and sweating and Trump destroying him. He'd be an amazing president but I'm not sure he'd be an amazing candidate.

Trump was just asked during the press gaggle on way to Marine One if he would consider DeSantis for a cabinet position.

His response was that he likes DeSantis very much. DeSantis to AG or to SCOTUS seems a probable next step for RonnieD. If he is smart, he goes SCOTUS and lives the good life for the next 30-40 years with the potential to leave a mark far greater than he can during 8 years max at POTUS.

That voting bloc absolutely exists and I am positive it is far larger than most here is willing to admit to.

Rubio stands a much better chance in a general election over Vance IMO, as we sit here right now. Mainly for that very fact. Rubio has already proven he has actual statesmen capability in his current and previous roles. Vance is largely stuck playing Trump's attack dog. Which is fine, that is largely what is expected of him. Rubio would just appeal to a far wider group of voters from the get go and I do t even think that is a hot take.

I think it's highly speculative right now, to predict that Rubio would make the decision to run against Vance in the primary and then prevail on an electability basis (or any other). Both are very gifted communicators to be sure, but I think that sort of 'civil war' among key Trump officials/friends is just unlikely.

I still think RD would make the best president. He's such a proven leader. I just don't know if he has the charisma to survive the election. If I could appoint a president, RD would be who I'd appoint.
Not saying JD or Rubio wouldn't be great, as I think both would be very good.

Agree with your sentiment. I think he would be very effective as the executive. Him running SCOTUS his way vs Roberts could better impact the Country.

Plus it's a massive easier job and allows him to be a husband and father, which seems to be pretty dear to him.

As someone else has mentioned, being able to have a discussion of 3 thoroughbreds to potentially choose from vs Kamala, BootyGig, Whitmer, etc is the much better place to be 2.5 years out. Lots can change though.

Rubio has already said he won't run against Vance if Vance is running. If Rubio runs, it's because Trump has told JD not to run.

Yeah he's a more relaxed and humorous Trump.
He's literally killing it.
If he doesn't run for POTUS, he's certainly a very attractive VP.
He's got everybody in his corner right now.
Even many libs like him.

I think the GOP would be smart to go Rubio in 2028 and then have Vance as secretary of state, and have him up next in the queue. Really think we need a break from trump, unless Vance is able to walk that line between getting trump supporters and bringing in the moderates who are currently tired of trump.

If Iran situation doesn't change quickly, it becomes harder for Vance in my opinion. Maybe harder for any of them. Who knows.

Rubio is well spoken, but he's not a street-fighter. That's how trump took him out in 2016. Like it or not, this is the arena now. I think he's a much better candidate than he was back then, but he's got his weaknesses. He has to be able to spar with people on the debate stage aside from policy-wonk moments. He can come across as condescending and petulant at times when backed into a corner. Again, that was 2016. I think he's grown exponentially since then so I'm hopeful

there is a big difference between a guy in his 40s and a guy in his 50s

it's called gravitas and experience.

you think JD Vance isn't "condescending and petulant" when he trolls the left?

PERFECT

but it's too good for conservatives to ever happen.
