Japan - instead of allowing in 3rd world no-skill migrants like the US and Europe - automates to address labor shortages.

Quick tangent. It was well done IMO and interestingly done. They basically go through the entire ATC exchange as his friends, family listen in.

Very sad story of mental illness and a young man breaking to societal pressures. Could have ended much worse but Beebo was one hell of a character. RIP Beebo. Wish you would have landed (safely), relieved it costs no one else their life.
