Hopefully Graham Platner can draft some legislation to have Bernie sent to the gas chamber. Bernie supports this guy and his ideology and goals. Bernie is as solid team Dem as one can be, so I am sure he will support this next step in his life journey.

If he wins and becomes a Senator, some people think he'll go independent or switch parties after a couple of years. Maine is a very unique cultural outlier state, and predicting what the Maine electorate will do in any election is anybody's guess. His populist bent combined with his independent views appear to be working well for his candidacy so far.
