We executed a guilty man. The Texas 7 all got the death penalty and deserved it, even though they didn't all directly kill Aubrey Hawkins

I guess I don't get the point of the OP. Are you just telling us he was executed? That there are some who argue he is innocent? Not culpable?
If you have an issue with his sentence, your ire needs to be directed to the Texas legislature and the Law of Parties.
Otherwise.... According to the Law of Parties, whether he pulled the trigger or not, he is responsible for the murders because he was involved in the crime that precipitated their murders.
Now, if his argument is that he was in no way involved in the crime at all, then I could see arguing innocence. But that's not his argument, correct?

Any accomplice of murder should receive the same penalty.

Welp, there went a guy who could've been the person to find a cure for cancer. Good going Texas.

Takes credit for pulling the trigger in jail house interviews to gain clout.
Says he took credit to keep his cousin from getting the death penalty.
He get death penalty, says he was high on pcp and his cousin was trigger man.
DNA ties gun to cousin, left starts screaming to let death row inmate off the hook.
Texas says nah, he gets executed.
Politician says event tried under rule of parties, so Texas executes an innocent man.@BucyForTexas supports this inmate. Says he’s a victim.

A victim who wasn’t the trigger man in a robbery he was a part of, but wanted the clout so he gave these jail house interviews.
The real victims? The people that were murdered.
Doesn’t matter if he was the trigger man… https://t.co/27PYUO4wLJ
Why do we give a **** about this random tweet? Like I tell those with TDS, you don't have to respond to everything that someone says.

The only thing that I am upset about is that it took 18 years for the families of the victims to get justice,
I do not care if he was the trigger man or not, he participated in the robbery and had no remorse toward the victims or their families.
Society will not miss him.

He wasn't "innocent" and I don't care that he's dead, even if he didn't pull the trigger.
Shouldn't have tried to make himself look like a super thug. ****ed around and last night he found out.
And yes, under law of parties, his execution was perfectly legal.
This thread is not going to go the way you want it to.

This thread is going exactly how pookie wanted it to.
Have you ever read his posts?
And did you not catch the quotations around the word "innocent" in the title?
James Broadnax was just executed by the people of Texas even though another man confessed to the killings and DNA evidence makes it clear he was not the shooter.

The crime was heinous. This execution was too.
Blind vengeance is not justice. James, and Texans, deserve better. pic.twitter.com/fUMYerYptz
