I had not seen this news posted. Seriously though, Trump can be quite reasonable on a great many fronts if just shown a bit of respect, a respect he demands not so much for himself but for AMERICA.

Why is that Trumps concern? The Brits need to grow a pair and take back their own country, not wait for Trump to do it.

Wasn't really anything for Charles to do. Trump merely removed the tariff on scotch.

Maybe there is more to this but that's all we've seen announced?

The monarchy does still retain some power, including reserve powers, though it's been centuries and it would cause many issues.

Sort of like the reverse of impeachment. He could really muck up parliament but it would likely mean some sort of overthrow of the monarchy.

Agree. If Trump had any requests I would think the King would be quite confident in granting such in return for Trump taking his action.

This would seem to be a handshake followed by "we'll get the details a bit later thank you".

I just find it bizarre that Trump praised Charlie as a "high-quality person", "fantastic" and "He's a great King... The greatest King, in my book". Charlie is the Joe Biden of Kings in the way he could care less if his country is being handed over to an invasion of foreigners. But you're right. The Brits should grow a pair and take back their own country (unlike us in 2020/2021).
