What Mandami doesn't realize is that every city/state is not the same and every city and state will work to the benefit of the populace, unfortunately for Mandami and Hochul, you need billionaires…deciding to call out and wanting to tax their wealth, is not a winning proposition for their populace.

I wonder why Momdani never asked Hugo Chavez or Nico Maduro why all the rich people in their rich country offshored all of their wealth when all the benevolent and tolerant socialists wanted to do was "tax the rich" and "make them pay their fair share" to fund utopia for anyone and everyone who wanted to sit around and get free stuff? In general the population that voted for him suffers from multiple of the following.
Pride -- They've always been told they're winners. They've lived life for the cultivated Instagram boast.
Greed -- Materialistic and want as much as they can consume
Lust -- Just like the previous
Envy -- Their incredibly jealous of everyone else. Again, they live their life by Instagram comparison
Gluttony -- Just like greed and lust, they want without end, and they wasn't gratification now.
Wrath -- When your entire life, your existence is centered around the previous, how can you not become bitter and angry?
Sloth -- Yes, they're just damn lazy!

Do those seven previous words look familiar? They sum up the collective hated and bitterness toward the mega millionaire and billionaire class. Greed, envy, and sloth I believe are paramount among these.
