I mean Trump regularly says he is not a deeply religious man. I do not believe he regularly attends church and obviously has made some personal choices over the years that are not necessarily very fine examples of Christian living.

However, he respects other who are faithful, across not just Christians but also Jews and Muslims. Folks would do well to stop ascribing some die hard Christian persona that Trump has never shown or tried to sell to anyone.

I would much rather have a mostly secular slightly Christian Trump than a devil in disguise Carter.
