Burning Man: That thing in the desert

I had unfortunately invested some time watching a YouTube video of burning man.

What it showed was this weird rules and laws that governed how people behaved on the inside and how crime was dealt with when law enforcement would get wind of a rape, robbery or drug over dose.

Immediately when LEO steps foot inside and BEGINS an investigation of just attempting to talk with said individuals who were involved as victims, these women would appear one after the other to deny LEO access, they would speak on behalf of victim, say they were treating the victim and that talking to LEO would send them over the edge due to their fragile condition.

It was super bazaar to see. How on earth can LEO not be allowed to immediately intervened, and people who act on behalf of burning man not be arrested for interfering . I would never believe something like that would be allowed to exist.

Crazy. As cool as it it looks, I would imagine it is a predator's paradise.

Based on the description I can't tell if this woman the LEO was trying to get access to was raped, robbed, or having an OD (possibly all 3?). Wish there was a video to help make sense of this.

Worked with a burner. Dude is ****ing weird and creepy. Someone outed him as a burner on a conference call jokingly and he got pissed

Hmm not my experience at BM. I've been to BM a few times, decent presence of LEO, undercover and BLM. The BLM have all sorts of cool monitoring tech based on my conversations with a few. BM used to be a lot weirder, now it's just a bunch of yuppies with cash to burn. It's a lot of fun and surprisingly chill compared to what many on here think. The best part was riding around on a bike during the day and exploring. The night raves are cool but after your first or second sunrise you're good.

I think BM is a huge waste of space for young people but I also slept in the mud half alive at Chilifest one time so who am I to judge.

No doubt they looked for the craziest story to generate ratings and in turn get paid. I'm sure there is some wild drug infused orgy **** going on there but at the same time I'm sure there is a bunch of folks just trying to have a good time.

Why can't you believe it?
A no law enforcement zone has been allowed in Portland.
Sanctuary cities deny Federal law enforcement of immigration.
Corruption throughout all levels of government with no enforcement.
Burning Man is no different.

Weird to watch these corporate bozos impede law enforcement. Then remember that if enough crime occurs law enforcement can object to their permit for the event on legal grounds. No permit no money.

This is a massive corporate event disguised as an anti-establisment counter culture experience.

Its all about the $$$.

Thanks for posting this. I have been getting my arse kick by my bladder not wanting to clear itself. In the middle of a UTI that has me weak and abit forgetful.

Those are the same BM folks I remember. It was like a cult watching white chick, after white chick come up and offer resistance to any sort of cooperation.

Cops should conduct their investigation and charge anyone that gets in their way with Obstruction.
