How stupid are the liberal decision makers in Michigan that they'd allow this to occur? I get that Michigan has gone to hell in a hand basket the last 30 years or so, but there are still a ****load of blue dog democrats that will never vote for this guy.

Idk. Heard this one before. John Jones was gonna win in Michigan last time in 2020… until he didn't. Hopefully this time it's different.

Trump did. Unless Dearborn speaks for the entire State, which it doesn't, a Republican can win there even with commie whittmer in charge. I've got lots of acquaintances from there and they are pissed at the invasion of Somalis and the fact they are trying to take over the State government. They are very motivated to vote Red.

Their contemptible Sec. of State Benson has been on a roll losing court cases lately about election integrity/ballots/voting lists etc. So of course, she would be the heir-apparent to the leftists running for governor.

I think she will be up against John James but I don't really know; their primaries aren't until August in any case.

The radicals and activists on the far left are dominating the party leadership for the Dems due to effective propaganda and pressure and have pulled their party electorate in primaries far left. They turn out and are getting radical Dems through primaries. Up against an effective populist leaning type of Republican in the general, they are vulnerable to defeat by being such outliers.

it's a real concern considering Mike Rogers ALREADY lost like that in 2024

but on the other hand, Trump won Michigan twice.

John James and he is leading the way to be Governor

Also 2020 was a cheat year. Trump lost by 150k in Michigan. James lost by 92k to an incumbent. Gary Peters won in 2014 by 414k

I think he did okay considering

Michigan seems to be turning in to a true purple state
