JUST IN: UK PM Keir Starmer reportedly PREPARING TO RESIGN after devastating election results

Make it happen!

Keir WON'T be missed

"Sir Keir Starmer looks set to resign as Prime Minister in this coming week."

"Journalist Dan Hodges has reported that a Cabinet Minister has informed him that: 'they believe Keir Starmer will announce he's standing down this week without the need for a contest.' He goes on to say that this is the first time he's heard this directly from a Cabinet Minister."

The one behind him is 100x worse, but it will be short lived. The Labour Party is being absolutely destroyed right now and there doesn't appear to be a way to correct the ship.

The Brits did it on their own.
Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

Good riddance. I don't know what the future holds, but it's never a bad think for these left wing globalist to get humiliated, rejected, and run out of office.

Everyone in the UK knows very well that only wankers are eligible to lead the Labour Party. Keir Starmer is the supreme pivotal wanker and the next general election will bring the Reform Party which will be the equivalent of MAGA defeating the Obama/Bite-Me regime all at once. No more Open English Channel and no more socialist oppression in GB.

The Labor Party (akin to the Dems in the US) are pro immigrants and pro illegals as they create a new votebank. UK Labor party has brought in Muslims in boatloads who are now going around committing crime and raping women.

People seem to be fed up. They need a Trumpesque leader to weed these terrorists out.

Wait until Labor figures out that Muslims will vote Muslim, Labor or not.

Stepping down. His party (Labour) holds a majority of the seats in Parliament until the next election (2029) so he will be replaced by someone from his party.

Stepping down. The power brokers in the Labour Party are turning on him after the local elections they had this past week.

He's moderate compared to those poised to take his place within the party. For perspective, Starmer is in most ways a run of the mill modern American democrat. In a country where the Overton window is much further to the left than it is here he's very milk toast.

Getting rid of him will only push the country further to the left and exacerbate the issues that led to his resignation.

He's not "extremely moderate" compared to anyone. He may not be the most radical leftist, but he's a radical leftist nonetheless.

I don't think you realize how different the political mainstream is in the UK compared to the US. He is to the current Labor party what someone like Suzan DelBene is to the current Democrat party.

Starmer is WIDELY attacked by his base as being too moderate and centrist. A big reason Labor lost seats is because of people voting for the far more left wing Green party. The average Labor voter views mainstream American democrats as conservatives, and the average Tory voter is left wing by the standards of the average American conservative.

For reference, 90% of self identified conservatives in the UK support abortion in some capacity. There is such a consensus there amongst all the parties that it is regarded as a settled issue politically. There is no controversy whatsoever about it. That's how vast the chasm between the two nations is.

Correction, if his party replaces him with leadership that is further left, it will push the country further right.

Labor is losing as many votes to the Greens as they are to the conservative parties, and the votes they are losing to conservatives are almost exclusively on the basis of immigration.

Again, I think many of you underestimate just how much further to the left the UK is than we are. The average conservative voter there is much more similar to an American democrat than to a republican.

No they're not. The votes are overwhelmingly going to Reform. Green is gaining some, but by no means is it as many as Reform.
