This is a propaganda gain. Islamists have been particularly good lately of convincing their proponents and those beyond their typical realm that the US and Israel are evil and, thus, worthy of defeat and/or humiliation. They're winning that war, have been for some time, and are seemingly justified in believing that they will continue to do so to a higher degree in the future. Until we recognize that the propaganda war is equally if not more important than the physical war, we are doomed to remain mired in this mess.

That's the actual truth. It's outgrown any sort of "control" possible. It did that way before any of us were born. It's just a fact of life of now.

You go abstract and yes, changing the fundamental nature of Islam so it can't be radicalized would be the answer. However, human nature basically also contradicts this. Religion equals control and nobody is going to voluntarily give up that level of control.

Then you've got to nuke everyone who knew them, were related to them, think of them as a "cause" etc and do the same to them. Answer to OP question is;

You don't. You put America first and stop sending money and resources overseas. Which is what most of MAGA voted for.

In the modern/technology age you're not "winning" a war or conflict, and that's with anybody. Much less a religion with billions of followers if that's what you think you're fighting against. You win by worrying about yourself and your own Country, and you let the CIA pull the strings on the rest of the world like they already do. Theres 0 need for trying to even fight a war much less worrying about winning one.
