It's both.

Less on the more people snapping, I think that has always happened. But we definitely hear about it more, and it makes more and more news of late when we *shockingly* find out that the bad guy has been a bad guy their entire lives and that the judge, who is also *shockingly* a demtard, gives them as light a sentence as humanly possible.

While I won't claim it to be the sole or even main driver, I truly believe the constant media attention we bring to these nutcases creates more of them.

I hope his injuries are horribly painful, and the meds for pain are insufficient to abate it.
