They're not really socialist. They have a very overregulated and technocratic capitalist economy but very high tax rates to support a bloated welfare and public services state. Except they're slowly starting to realize it is unsustainable.

Exactly, that may be the difference, they are not on public property or in the streets they are on private property and not wanted. Also they may have tried to be nice for an hour and ask them to leave before they went medieval on their asses.

I find that video offensive.

He should not have restrained that puppy dog from performing his duly-appointed duties.

RELEASE THE HOUND!

Seriously, as someone who got to be on the receiving end of K9 training (got to wear the sleeve*), we need to let the puppies do their job. Those folks can't fight back against the dog.



*Fun fact...my buddy who was the K9's partner told me to make sure I had a strong stance and good footing...because if I fell to the ground, the dog may let loose of his grip for a half-second and then when he tries to reestablish it, it may be my neck rather than the sleeve-protected arm he chomps down on.

LOVE IT! That's how it's done. GTFO private property. I've had to deal with this at my corporate HQ in lower Manhattan NYC (climate zealots).

If I saw a group of cops being up a Palestinian activist, I'd ask if I could borrow a club and join them. Or at least fetch them some drinking water in case they need it from the intense physical activity.

I was thinking the same. Release that pup and everyone else can just sit back and relax. Used to work on a lot of law enforcement dogs. They were a ton of fun and I made sure we were friends.

I disagree with those saying the dog should have been released. The handler was merely protecting their dog.

Had the dog bit one of the protestors, it would have had to lick its own butt for a week to get the taste out of its mouth.
