Depending on where you saw it, people/bots see "growler crash" is trending and try to get some clicks, I think

My brother was at the show and had just parked in the parking lot. His 5 year old grandson said "Dad, do they have fire trucks on air force bases?" My brother was thinking "what a random question" until he saw the smoke…

This was a poor decision at high levels. I expect the squadron CO & possibly XO will lose their positions for signing off on this after the FIELD NAVAL AVIATOR EVALUATION BOARD [FNAEB] is finished.

As an NFO, we were demo'd this in our flight training, and assisted with the lookout, but it really was 100% on the pilots to keep their eye on the lead plane.

The wingman [2nd pilot] will likely never fly in the Navy again.

What a waste.
