There was another incident last week of a fast food melee at a Tim Horton's in Indiana but this time the customer was a 75 year old woman that died from a heart attack shortly after the incident. Initially there was a big furor as she was an elderly AA woman and her family was speaking out. The full video emerged and the old lady is the one that took it physical and she struck one worker and pulled a chunk of hair out of their head. An employee fights back and ultimately the old lady sits down and dies of a heart attack.
I think this one is going to be debated for a while due to the race element and the question of whether you respond with violence when your attacker is an elderly woman. I simply don't understand how people resort to violence when they don't get their way at a fast food joint. The sooner they replace hourly workers with robots the better off we will be because I don't see people wanting to fight a droid when their fries are cold.
I believe if I were 20 years old working at this place and this old woman laid hands on me I would just walk away. $12 an hour isn't worth getting involved in something like this and the girl that fought the old lady has been doxxed and this will follow her for a long time.
