When did the religious right ever endorse actual destruction of beauty or tearing down societal norms? You are purposefully trying to conflate the argument because you know it strikes at the truth of leftist movements since the days of marx.

As far as the derail attempt with the fiscal policies, there is a difference in removing regulations and letting business be created and working to incentivize that growth vs globalize everything. 90's and 00's Reps were and are republican progressives...part of the uniparty with the dem progressives. The religious right in those cases aligned with them because they still stood for nuclear family normalcy and against crushing traditional American families. As globalization became more and more clear you see the rise of the populist right. The discussions are completely separate from the one at hand.

These same people mocked and demonized Charlie Kirk. They were deeply saddened when the Butler, PA shooter barely missed turning Trump's head into pink mist on live TV. They have zero emotion when whites are murdered in cold blood. An 18 yr old white kid was handcuffed and left to die after being stabbed because the killer claimed he had said some racist things...SILENCE from the left...zero emotional response. A poor unsuspecting girl from Ukraine was stabbed to death on public transportation by a violent black thug FOR BEING WHITE...zero sympathy. Hell, all of their political leaders sat in protest while a young kid dying from brain cancer was being honored. They did the same when the grieving parents of girls who had been raped and killed were being recognized. Absolute monsters. Dark and evil. Zero redeemable traits or contributions to society.

I never said 'tear down societal norms', quite the opposite actually. Repression through censorship and the reduction of freedom of expression were common tactics. It was much easier to silence opinions before the internet.

The left is suffering the same issues today: they censor outside opinions and obfuscate definitions to fit their own political needs. They despise criticism and being confronted with uncomfortable ideas. And worse, they try to use the power of government to impose their religion-like beliefs on everyone.

you're still conflating censorship with what the left is actually doing. they are actually working to destroy society and beauty and make it into something that is the bizarro version in their fantasies.
