Does anyone on this board admittedly support birthright citizenship as a policy? (Big difference between that and believing it's what constitution requires)

It may be cruel but the child's citizenship should have no bearing on the parents.

Or the parents, while back in their home country, can go through the legal process or get green cards.

I lived in the lower valley for a little while nearly 40 years ago. Even back then people talked about bridge babies. Born on this side of the bridge, lives on that side of the bridge, but walks across every morning for school on our side, on our dime. And of course the welfare checks and food stamps went over the bridge as well…

I recall your post from a while back that suggested deporting everyone who arrived after the 1965 Hart-Celler Act. I'm curious about a practical strategy to make that happen.

Any major immigration reform needs majorities in both House and Senate, plus there are big constitutional/legal hurdles. How would you propose overcoming those? What realistic steps do you see?
